Here you can see how the behaviour of the system alters according to different application requirements. Note that the rules are evolved for a set of requirements and then tested on a trajectory that has never been shown to network.
The moving dot is the “target” and the background colour of each cell (which is a network node) represents the average duty cycle, with white being 100% on and black on 1/8th of the time.

Things to note
- As the speed of the target increases, the average duty cycle has to increase to maintain the required tracking accuracy
- As the tracking accuracy increases, more cells typically have to be active to maintain the required tracking accuracy
